We hear the CLICKING OF BOOTS ON TILE before GLORIA, 30-something - boots, corduroy pants, blouse - arrives in doorway. Doc sets phone down, removes glasses, looks at her.

DOC: His dog died.
GLORIA nods.
GLORIA: He’s going to his sister’s for a few days.
DOC (CONT.) I'll give him a call.
GLORIA: No Hunter tomorrow.
DOC: His daughter is visiting through the end of her summer.
